www.a2a.org.uk This is a database of old documents worth looking through to see if there is anything of interest.(Free)

www.1901census.nationalarchives.gov.uk As it says it is the government website of the census carried out in 1901. (Free)

www.familysearch.org Created by the Mormons and useful for checking the 1881 census of the UK (Free)

www.rootsweb.com Census returns for different years.I could not find the information I was looking for even though I knew it should have been there!! Might work for you. (Free)

www.ukbmd.org.uk Civil Register of Births, Marriages and Deaths in UK (Free)

www.ancestry.com Database of Census returns for 1871,1881 & 1891. I have used this site a lot with great success of course it does depend on the census having been filed! There is a charge for using it but I actually used their free trial offer and had obtained most of my data in that time. Be wary though it is not the most easy of sites to use and although they offer a lot more than the census returns there is an additional cost for most of it!!! Subcriptions for a year just for the UKdata is around C$50.

trees.ancestry.com Starting your tree couldn’t be easier. One name is all it takes to start your family tree. But the more you add, the better we can help you — every name is another piece of the story. Look for the leaf. Very soon, leaves will begin to appear on your family tree — these are Ancestry Hints. And each one is a potential discovery. Follow the leaves and watch your family tree grow. Billions of records. Millions of fellow family history seekers. You could find an infamous relative. Or perhaps a photo of your great-grandma as a little girl. But whatever you find, it’s sure to change the whole way you look at your family history, and yourself. After all, the story of your family is the story of you!

www.1837online.com This is the site to use for Births,Marriage & Death although there is a charge for using it. If you know the approximate date then it means costs are reduced as each time a page is viewed, the dates are set up in Quarters of the year ie. 1st Quarter =Jan, Feb, Mar You can purchase in blocks of units, each unit being one viewing of a document. I have had enormous success with this. It is worth recording the reference given with the entry you find something like 4th Quarter 1875 2b 618 as this is the information you will need to order a particular certificate.

www.genuki.org.uk Another good site with all kinds of links to Counties, Countries etc etc. (Mostly free except if one of the links has a charge.

Certificates of Birth Marriage and Death can be ordered online through the General Register Office the charges if you quote the reference numbers found in www.1837online.com area around 7GBP each including postage to Canada although there is about a 4 - 6 week wait for them to arrive. The website is www.statistics.gov.uk

If in your searching you find a site that you think would be useful for me then please let me know as there are thousand out there!!!

Welcome to the web pages for the family name of Kellond, and all of the name variations.

All the information found here has been located on the Internet from Public Information, all Copyrights are acknowledged, we value your comments and suggestions, please contact us!

This page will reflect where our relations are presently and we will show the internet link here, we will further break it down by major and minor areas in which they reside.

The idea is to have individual families listed with their 'Public' information such as their electronic mailing address, etc. If they have an Internet link, then, with their permission, we would show this link. Where they allow, we could list part of their family tree on their information page.

These are only a sample of our thoughts, we ask for your comments and suggestions and we will try to incorporate these in what we hope will be 'Your' web site.

We need your input, please contact us with your suggestions, please copy all of your ideas to the Info mail address,
